Not many people know this but every year, for 27 years, Sacramento has a Shakespeare festival that happens in William Land Park’s very own amphitheater. This same Shakespeare Company also has a High School Internship program, which brings in interested students to work with some of the festival staff members. I don’t know about you but, to me, this helps them in a much more positive way.

Metrorail customers traveling between the Cheverly and Stadium-Armory Metrorail stations should add at least 30 minutes to their travel time because Metro will replace crossties and conduct maintenance on the aerial structure outside the Stadium-Armory Metrorail station. Trains will share one track between these locations from 9:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 25, to closing (midnight) on Sunday, Sept. 27.
There will be over 80 performances. The types of music will range from Jazz Rock manabadi festival Country Hip-Hop Classical and even Gospel. There will also be interactive music games for the kdis.
This year, the annual Corso Italia Toronto Fiesta will be held July 5 and 6 on St. Clair Ave., West. This will allow everyone to experience Toronto’s rich Italian culture and taste its’ famous cuisine. Over 20 bands will entertain on street corners, patios and balconies playing music from Classical to Salsa.

Stony point is the site of one of the last major Revolutionary War battles in the northeastern colonies. This summer you can visit the museum for a self guided tour. Enjoy also the re-enactments of the battle. The museum is open Mid-April – October: Grounds open: Monday – Saturday from 10 – 5, Sunday from 12 – 5.; Museum open: Wednesday – Saturday from 10 – 4:30, Sunday 12 – 4:30.
